Study Skills

This year, all the Dingwall Associate Primary schools are working with Dingwall Academy on a shared project looking at study techniques.

When pupils move onto Dingwall Academy they are required to take more responsibility for their own learning, including studying at home.  Pupils often find this difficult and need help to develop strategies that work for them.

In Primary School, pupils are going to spend some time looking at study techniques.   These techniques are not only of use to pupils in school, but will prove to be valuable life skills.

As part of this shared project, we plan to hold an information evening on Tuesday 13th November in Dingwall Academy from 6.00 – 7.30.    P7  pupils and parents are asked to attend together, and pupils should bring their chrome books along.

Some pupils from P1 through to P7 at Ferintosh will join pupils at Mulbuie each Tuesday for a cluster day, joining in lessons and learning alongside their peers.
